My Bachelors project concerns the effect of different environments on (springtail) populations with different histories. The goal is to quantify the how two Collembola species from different temperature environments as well as ones under predation perform in mismatched and matched environments relative to their phenotype, whilst also exploring the effect of their different environmental population histories.

This research may lend some insight into how organisms in natural environments could react to climate extremes, perhaps informing more effective public policies to soften the effects of climate change on our biotic environment.
